Expert Hairdresser, Stylist, and State Certified Cosmetologist

Growing up in California, hair, makeup, and nails have always been a part of my life. Being a hairdresser and stylist is in my blood. In fact, I like to think I was born with a curling iron and scissors in my hands.

When I was three years old, I remember putting curlers in my dad’s hair to give him the perfect look. Then when I was in kindergarten, I had a line of friends wanting me to braid their hair and do their nails. Fast forward to high school, and you could find me giving advice on how to do hair. Before I went to cosmetology school, my first job was as a salon receptionist where I learned the ins and outs of the industry. And I saw other hairdressers make mistakes and how they fixed them. It was a great learning experience.

Hairdresser Learning the Ropes

After earning my cosmetology license, the credentialing for everything related to hair, skin, and nails, I worked as a hairdresser and stylist in Los Angeles. As one of the leading areas for new fashion ideas, the city’s fast-paced lifestyle gave me a ton of experience. And opportunities. Whether it was perfecting cutting-edge techniques, exploring different products, or preparing clients for big events, I was constantly creating.

But I wanted a change.

A New Chapter: Dolled Up Salon Opens

After living the busy life in Los Angeles, I started craving a more laid-back lifestyle. And I found a home in Clearwater, Florida. In 2020, Dolled Up Salon opened its doors, and I’ve never been happier. I founded the company with a mission to provide friendly, personalized service that ensures our clients are always number one. And we always strive to exceed their expectations.

Also, our focus is on creating a comfortable, relaxing experience. Unlike other salons, our clients aren’t a number in the computer system. They become friends. When you sit in the chair, I want you to feel heard and welcome you to take part in the creative process. And we work hard to ensure high quality services, while customizing treatments to each person’s needs.

So, no matter if you need the perfect hairstyle and makeup for a fancy event, want a new hair color, or more, there’s a place for you here.

We Are Constantly Learning

Preserving skin and hair health and integrity are the most important aspects of my job. That’s why many of the products we use are holistic with low toxins. Also, we choose products that are environmentally friendly and cruelty free. And we work with suppliers like Davines, Enjoy, and Maira Nila that share this mission. Furthermore, as a professional hairdresser and licensed cosmetologist, I keep up with the latest fashions and trends through training classes. And then I bring back what I’ve learned to our clients.

No matter what I’m working on, I feel that my skills enhance the natural beauty of each client.
